CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — A 16-year-old Chillicothe High School student is facing potential charges after allegedly threatening a staff member, according to a Chillicothe Police Department report.
School administration contacted police on April 3rd after a staff member reported that a student made a threat while in detention on April 2nd. The staff member overheard the student say they would harm another staff member and mentioned finding their address.
The staff member who was allegedly threatened told police they felt unsafe and considered leaving school.
The school suspended the student for ten days with a recommendation for expulsion. The student denied making the threat and claimed another student might have said it.
