FRANKFORT, Ohio – Adena High School is set to receive a significant boost to its athletic programs thanks to a statewide initiative by McDonald’s owner/operators. On September 26, during the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day, McDonald’s restaurants across Ohio will donate 10 percent of all sales made through their app to local high school athletic programs, including Adena High School.
This marks the second year of the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day, a program conceived by Ohio McDonald’s owners/operators to support high school athletics in their communities. Each participating McDonald’s restaurant has selected a local high school to benefit from the fundraiser, ensuring that each school receives a minimum of $250.
Local McDonald’s Owner/Operator Megan Brumfield expressed her enthusiasm for the initiative, stating, “We are proud to have these connections in the communities that we serve. This is the second year of the digital fundraiser, where all Ohio area owners/operators have come together to show our support for local high school athletics. Our hope is that the local communities will come out to support their high schools and help us make the High School Sports Digital Fundraiser Day a success throughout the state.”
Adena High School, along with 260 other schools across Ohio, stands to benefit from this generous initiative. The funds raised will help enhance the school’s athletic programs, providing better facilities and opportunities for student-athletes.
Residents of Frankfort and surrounding areas are encouraged to participate in the fundraiser by making purchases through the McDonald’s app on September 26. By doing so, they will be directly supporting Adena High School’s athletic programs and contributing to the development of young athletes in their community.
