ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Unconfirmed reports suggest that the body of 39-year-old Nathan Moore, who was believed to have drowned in the Scioto River yesterday, has been recovered. The search for Moore began on Wednesday after a someone called and reported a man struggling in the river, prompting a large-scale rescue operation involving boats and drones.
As of earlier reports, the search had yet to yield any results. However, new, unofficial information suggests that Moore’s body may have been located by search teams just before 1 PM. Authorities have not yet confirmed the discovery, and the investigation is still ongoing.
The Ross County Sheriff’s Office has not released an official statement regarding the reported recovery but continues to ask the public for any information related to the incident.
Confirmation of the body’s recovery is expected soon.
