CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Search crews are still combing the Scioto River for the body of 39-year-old Nathan Moore, who is believed to have drowned yesterday. The search began Wednesday after a 911 call reported a man in distress in the river. Rescue teams immediately launched a large-scale operation, deploying boats and drones to assist in the effort.
Despite the intensive search, Moore’s body has not yet been recovered as of this report.
The Ross County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for any information that might aid in the investigation. Authorities are urging anyone who may have seen or heard anything related to the incident to contact the sheriff’s office immediately.

The search will continue as officials work to bring closure to Moore’s family and the community.
