Mary Lou Bishop, aged 90, passed away on January 26, 2025, at Hopewell Grove Nursing Home in Chillicothe. Born on June 23, 1934, to Kermit and Esculine Clark Ward, she is survived by her son Terry Thompson and his wife Christina, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two nieces, and a nephew. She was predeceased by her husbands, Joseph Thompson and Mac Bishop, and her brothers, Clark and Ralph Ward. Mary was a dedicated member of Sunrush Church of Christ. Her family requests memorial contributions be made to Ware Funeral Home in lieu of flowers. Funeral services will be held on January 30, 2025, at Ware Funeral Home, followed by burial in Elk Cemetery, McArthur, Ohio. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
