Ronald D. “Ron” Draise, Sr., 73, of Chillicothe, passed away on February 8, 2025, after a brave battle with cancer. Born on September 1, 1951, in Circleville, Ohio, he was the son of Donald and Elizabeth Morgan Draise. Ron is survived by his wife, Julie Ackerman, and his children, Ronald Jr., Travis, Doug, DeeAnn, and Cari, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his brother, Donald “Dude” Draise, Ron retired from the Chillicothe Correctional Institute and FedEx, and was passionate about hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on February 13, 2025, at WARE FUNERAL HOME, with an additional service in Iowa later this spring. Visitors can sign the online register at www.warefh.com.
