Lisa M. Hewitt, 62, of Chillicothe, passed away on February 23, 2025, at Adena Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. Born on January 29, 1963, in Lancaster, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Donald B. and Ellen Marie Palmer Ellis. She is survived by her husband, Chester A. Hewitt, whom she married on November 24, 1984, and her son, Matthews C. Hewitt, along with grandchildren and extended family. Lisa was a dedicated librarian at the Chillicothe and Ross County Public Library and a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. She had a passion for baking, particularly proud of her award-winning Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins, and enjoyed antique and vintage clothing shopping. Funeral services will be held on March 1, 2025, at WARE FUNERAL HOME, with burial at St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends are welcome for visitation before the service.
