JACKSON COUNTY, Ohio – A 12-year-old boy who was reported missing early Thursday morning has been safely located, according to law enforcement officials.

Authorities had issued a public alert seeking assistance in locating the juvenile, who was last seen between 5:45 AM and 6:45 AM in the area of Raysville Road. The boy was described as biracial, approximately 4’9″ tall, weighing 72 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was believed to be wearing a black snow suit, a lime green jacket, multi-colored high-top shoes, and carrying a black Nike backpack.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office asked for the community’s help in locating the child, urging anyone who saw him to contact authorities.
