Donald R. Schofield, 86, from Chillicothe, passed away on March 10, 2025. Born on November 28, 1938, in Chillicothe, he was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Army Reserves until 1973. Don had a distinguished career in banking and insurance and was actively involved in his community through roles such as Clerk of City Council, Auxiliary City Firefighter, and secretary for the Phoenix Fire Company No. 2. A member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, he is survived by his children, Jennifer, Caroline, and Charles, and his beloved cat, Millie. His wife, D. Sharon Carmean, and son, John Bradley Schofield, preceded him in death. A funeral service will be held on March 14, 2025, at Fawcett Oliver Glass and Palmer Funeral Home, with burial at Londonderry Cemetery.
