CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — Ohio University Chillicothe is gearing up for its annual Kids in College summer enrichment program, set to run June 1 through June 12, 2026, offering hands-on learning experiences for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

The two-week program runs in weekly sessions with both morning and afternoon courses available. A rotating lineup of instructors — including business owners, college faculty, and community educators — lead small-group classes designed to spark curiosity and creativity in young learners.

This year’s program includes a wide range of activities such as marine biology, art exploration, cartooning, pottery, music, STEM, scientific discovery, stand-up comedy, and cake decorating.

“Kids in College gives children an opportunity to explore questions and find answers, discover new interests, flex their creativity, and have fun while making meaningful connections,” said Ann Holmes, administrative specialist at Ohio University Chillicothe.

Registration is open through May 18. Each class costs $50, with some courses carrying additional materials fees. Program t-shirts are available for $12.
