As Deputy Nott arrived on scene, the man jumped from the bridge into the Scioto River below, triggering a large-scale response from dozens of law enforcement officers and emergency personnel throughout Ross County. The man was eventually rescued, taken into custody, and transported to an area hospital. Criminal charges including disorderly conduct, obstructing official business, and inducing panic were filed, and the case remains under investigation.
