CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio – Emergency crews responded to a working structure fire on the 100 block of Hayward Street in Circleville early this morning after the call came in at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Within minutes of initial units arriving on scene, it became clear the fire required additional resources. At 9:48 a.m., crews requested mutual aid from neighboring departments as the blaze continued to burn.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, officials said. It also remains unclear whether anyone was inside the structure at the time of the fire.
Investigators are expected to continue assessing the scene. No further details have been released by authorities at this time.
