At approximately 5:27 a.m., Sgt. Champion was dispatched to SR-327 in reference to a male experiencing chest pains. Upon arrival, the sergeant began CPR on an unconscious and unresponsive male. Hocking County EMS arrived and initiated life-saving procedures, but the male was eventually pronounced deceased. The Ross County Coroner’s Office was contacted, and no foul play was suspected.
