Custody Dispute at Stone Road

At approximately 3:22 p.m., Deputy Tatman and Sergeant Champion responded to Stone Road in Chillicothe in reference to a custody dispute. Family members believed they were legally allowed to retake custody of a child; however, after confirmation with Child Protective Services, they were advised that an emergency custody order had been signed by a judge.
