WASHINGTON COURT HOUSE, Ohio — A trio of city meetings set for next week has been moved up a day, city officials said.
The regular Washington Court House City Council meeting, along with the Safety Service Committee and the Recreation and Abatement Committee meetings, had been scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 12. The city said in a Facebook post that all three have been rescheduled to Tuesday, Aug. 11, at their regular times, in the council chambers at 105 N. Main St.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience,” the city said in the post.
Washington Court House City Council normally meets the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the council chambers at the city administration building. The seven-member council includes a chairperson and vice chairperson along with five other members, who also sit on committees that vet legislation and city business, including public safety, recreational facilities and nuisance abatement, before it comes before the full council.
