COLUMBUS, Ohio — If you have been waiting to renew your license, or vehicle registration because of the pandemic, your deadline is quickly approaching. July 1 marks the end of the pandemic extension for Ohio motorists.

Last year, Governor Mike Dewine, and the state’s BMV extended deadlines to help prevent the congregating of people. Now that restrictions have been lifted, and the states emergency declaration removed, Ohio motorists must hurry to renew their expired licenses, state ID cards, and registrations.

The BMV would also like to remind citizens that any fees you may have accrued during the extension will become due.
