ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A single-vehicle rollover accident closed CR 550 Friday evening near the area of Maple Grove Road. That accident happened around 7:30 p.m.
According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, an SUV was traveling along CR 550 when it lost control, striking an embankment.
Union Township EMS responded to the scene. According to medics, one person was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center for evaluation.
Troopers could not confirm how long the road would be shut down.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The name of the person involved and the extent of any injuries were not immediately released.
