HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Multiple departments from around Ross County worked together to save a man’s life.

Just before 7 p.m., crews were called to Brady Hill Road for a man who crashed his ATV deep into the woods.

Due to the patient’s condition and rough terrain, multiple other departments were requested to assist.

It took crews nearly three hours to walk the man out of the woods and transport him to Adena Medical Center.

Fire Chief Kevin Harper of Harrison Township said he wanted to thank the local citizens who assisted firefighters with their own ATVs to access the scene.
