ATHENS COUNTY, Ohio — Investigators with the Ohio Highway Patrol are investigating a two-vehicle crash that left multiple people seriously injured. Shortly after 3 p.m. on Monday, November 15, an injury crash occurred on route 50 near route 144 in Athens, troopers say.

Dustin Roberts, 39, of Cutler, was driving north in a 2008 Kia Spectra on SR 144. Shane Faddis, 34, Athens, was driving a 2000 Dodge Dakota pickup westbound on route 50. According to reports, Faddis struck Roberts after he failed to yield at a stop sign.

Roberts and two other passengers, officials say, were airlifted to Grant Hospital in Columbus. Faddis was taken to Marietta Memorial in Belpre with non-life-threatening injuries.
