PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — Fire and rescue personnel responded to a serious crash Friday evening in Pike County. The call came into 9-1-1 dispatch shortly before 10:00 p.m.

According to initial reports, two cars were involved in a collision near route 104 and route 32, just south of Waverly. 

Law enforcement officials said 6 people were involved in the crash. The names of those involved and the extent of any injuries was not immediately released. 

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
