PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — A Pike County man is wanted by law enforcement after failing to appear for trial.
Ross County Common Pleas Court Judge Matthew Schmidt issued a bench warrant for the arrest of Matthew Hallmon after Hallmon failed to appear in court.
According to records obtained by the Guardian, Hallmon faces two counts of sexual battery.
He was origininally indicted on the charges in January of 2019. After several continuances a trial date of July 19 was scheduled, but the defendant failed to appear.
