ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Fire and rescue personnel are responding to a two-vehicle injury accident on Route 50 in Ross County. According to dispatchers, the crash occurred in the 14000 block of the highway shortly after 5 p.m.
A medical helicopter has been requested to the scene to transport the most seriously injured to a Columbus area trauma center. It is currently unknown the extent of the injuries sustained in the accident. The names of those involved have not yet been released.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while first responders work to clear the scene. It is not known at this time how long the road will be closed.
