ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — The Huntington Local School Board of Education honored the memory of Bonnie Mills, a cherished member of the community, by unveiling a memorial bench in her honor.
Bonnie, known for her dedicated service to the Huntington School District spanning over three decades, held various roles within the district. She served as a bus driver for 13 years, worked as a cook for 6 years, and held the position of cafeteria supervisor for 15 years, leaving a profound impact on the school community.
A graduate of the HHS Class of 1974, Bonnie remained deeply connected to her alma mater throughout her life. Her athletic prowess was evident as she played as a varsity starter on the volleyball team during her high school years, showcasing both skill and leadership on the court. Additionally, Bonnie’s spirited support extended beyond athletics as she cheered on her classmates and teams as a dedicated cheerleader.
