CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Sheriff’s Office has released its daily activity report for April 21, 2024.
At 12:36 AM, Deputy Rush initiated a traffic stop on US 23 Southbound near the Eastern Ave exit after observing a vehicle make a traffic violation. The driver was charged with disorderly conduct, failure to stay in marked lanes, and operating a vehicle under the influence.
At 9:28 AM, deputies were dispatched to the 17000 Block of State Route 138 in Clarksburg for a disorderly conduct complaint involving insulting and taunting behavior.
At 11:50 AM, a trespassing and suspicious person complaint was reported on Massieville Rd in Chillicothe. An investigation was initiated upon arrival.
At 2:02 PM, deputies were dispatched to 14949 Pleasant Valley Rd in reference to a disorderly conduct incident involving multiple parties.
At 2:37 PM, Deputy Speakman was dispatched to 4450 Rapid Forge Rd in Bainbridge in regards to a disorderly complaint.
At 2:48 PM, deputies were dispatched to the 3000 Block of State Route 28 in Greenfield for an unruly juvenile complaint.
At 2:49 PM, Sgt. McGoye was dispatched to a Community Homeless Shelter on Eastern Ave in Chillicothe regarding a complaint that a female resident was there yelling at staff and refusing to leave. The female was escorted from the location and barred from the location.
At 4:57 PM, deputies were dispatched to Pleasant Valley Rd in Chillicothe in reference to a possible threats complaint. An investigation was initiated upon arrival.
At 8:47 PM, deputies were dispatched to Mallow Rd, Frankfort Ohio, in reference to a suspicious vehicle on the side of the road with two occupants. An investigation was initiated upon arrival.
At 11:22 PM, Deputy O’Bomsawin was dispatched to a residence on Easterday Road, in reference to a fire. Upon arrival, Deputy O’Bomsawin made contact with the complainant, who stated that his bathroom caught fire, but has been put out.
At 11:59 PM, deputies were dispatched to Westfall Rd in reference to a suspicious person on the complainant’s property. An investigation was initiated upon arrival.
