SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio – The Scioto County Grand Jury returned 17 public indictments on February 21, 2025, following its January term, Prosecutor Shane A. Tieman announced in a press release on Thursday.

The indictments span a range of charges, including drug-related offenses, theft, perjury, animal cruelty, and escape. Several individuals were indicted on multiple counts.

Escape Charges

  • Eric Bundey, 36, of New Boston – Escape
  • Christopher Lampkin, 46, of Portsmouth – Escape
  • Curtis Sparks, 42, of Portsmouth – Aggravated Possession of Drugs, Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Malanie Lott, 58, of Portsmouth – Aggravated Possession of Drugs, Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments
  • Russell Jones, 45, of Portsmouth – Aggravated Possession of Drugs, Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Marion Russell, 54, of McDermott – Aggravated Possession of Drugs
  • Scott Slack, 60, of Portsmouth – Aggravated Possession of Drugs
  • Danny Long, 40, of Portsmouth – Aggravated Possession of Drugs (2 Counts), Possession of Drugs (2 Counts), Receiving Stolen Property, Tampering with Evidence
  • Barney Phillips, 44, of Otway – Possession of a Fentanyl-Related Compound, Possession of Cocaine, Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Keshia Cook, 30, of Winchester – Aggravated Possession of Drugs (2 Counts), Possession of Drugs (2 Counts), Receiving Stolen Property, Tampering with Evidence
  • Sonya Payne, 54, of Portsmouth – Aggravated Possession of Drugs
  • Barbara Paul, 54, of Greenup, KY – Aggravated Possession of Drugs, Possession of Drugs, Illegal Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Chase Williamson, 28, of Hillsboro – Theft
  • Destiny Blanton, 35, of Portsmouth – Theft From a Person in a Protected Class (5 Counts), Forgery (10 Counts), Misuse of Credit Cards (9 Counts), Theft (2 Counts)

Other Indictments

  • Timothy McKinney, 37, of Portsmouth – Cruelty to Companion Animals, Breaking and Entering
  • Calvin Craft, 34, of Piketon – Passing Bad Checks
  • Timothy Harmon, 43, of Portsmouth – Perjury
