CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Heritage Center will host a reception to open its new exhibit, “Unheard Voices: A Selective History of African American Men and Women of Chillicothe and Ross County,” on Saturday, June 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. at 45 W. Fifth St.

The event will showcase an archival exhibit highlighting the contributions and experiences of African American individuals in the community. Attendees can enjoy light refreshments, explore the exhibit, and discuss it with the museum’s lead archivist, who will be available to provide insights and answer questions.

A brief program, including remarks from museum staff and details on the exhibit’s development and significance, is scheduled for 3 p.m.
