JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — An 18-wheeler caused a traffic headache for many after it overturned in Fayette County.
It happened Tuesday afternoon on route 35 near I-71, close to the outlet mall.
According to Jefferson Township Assistant Fire Chief Jeff Warner, the truck rolled when it was turning onto the on-ramp of I-71 southbound. The trailer was loaded with several pallets of grain that is used in fragrances, according to crews at the scene.
Billy Parrish of Parrish Towing and Recovery oversaw a team of nearly 15 men who worked to unload the trailer so Parrish could upright it.
The out-of-state driver was not injured in the accident.
