ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — Firefighters and medics responded to the 7000 block of Blain Highway Monday afternoon for a motorcycle accident.
According to initial reports, the call came shortly after 3:30 p.m.
Witnesses say the rider was injured in the crash.
The name of the person involved and the extent of their injuries were not immediately known.
Officials say the accident remains under investigation. Troopers with the Jackson Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol said a school bus with the Huntington Local Schools was involved in the accident, but would not elaborate any further. The Guardian has not received any reports of any additional injuries and cannot confirm the exact involvement of the bus.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area while crews work to clear the scene.

There are, however, conflicting reports between the Chillicothe and Jackson County posts of the patrol on the exact involvement of the school bus in this accident.
