CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The investigation continues into a head-on crash that left one person in critical condition.
The Guardian reported on the crash that happened shortly after 8 p.m.
According to troopers with the Ohio Highway Patrol, a 2003 Dodge Durango, driven by
Tyler Frazier, and passenger Devan Purnell, both of Londonderry, Ohio, were traveling
southbound along route 159. That is when a 2011 Subaru Forester, driven by Phillip Schaible, of Cincinnati failed to yield to Frazier’s vehicle while turning left. The two vehicles collided head-on.
Fraizer was treated and released at the scene by medics with Union Township. His passenger Devan Purnell was transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Green Township with minor injuries.
Phillip Schaible was airlifted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus where he remains in critical condition.
