ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A man claims he was viciously attacked while working on his vehicle.
The incident occurred yesterday in Clarksburg.
According to the report from the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived on the scene and spoke with the caller. The man recounted what happened, stating that while he was working on his vehicle, another individual (whose name was withheld by the sheriff’s office) approached him, threatening to kill him. The suspect was reportedly angry and claimed that the caller had put his son in the hospital.
It was at that moment, according to the report, that the suspect attacked the complainant, repeatedly striking him in the face and head.
The victim mentioned that he fell to the ground and the suspect began kicking him in the ribs.
Reportedly, two other individuals who were in the area intervened and stopped the attack, separating the attacker from his victim.
Following the incident, the attacker reportedly fled the scene.
No further details have been released regarding the incident. However, the sheriff’s office stated in their report that they would be requesting a warrant for assault and aggravated menacing.
