ROSS COUNTY, Ohio — A robbery on Denver Road took a violent turn yesterday at around 4:09 PM, leaving a male driver injured and the culprits at large.
The victim, driving a white Ford Ranger southbound, reported that he was followed by an older male driver and a black male passenger in a black Honda for several miles. Near Keiser Road, the Honda reportedly passed the victim on the left, then suddenly blocked both lanes of traffic.
The passenger, described as a black male in his mid-late 20s, exited the vehicle with a handgun and attacked the victim, tearing his shirt and punching him. The assailant demanded the victim’s money, and he handed over $370. The suspects fled the scene in their Honda, which notably had no license plate.
The victim has provided a statement to law enforcement, who are now seeking public assistance to identify the suspects.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to contact the Ross County Sheriff’s Office.
