PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — In an initiative to disseminate information about job and training services in the Pike County area, the OhioMeansJobs Pike County Van, operated by The Workforce and Business Development Program of the Community Action Committee of Pike County (CAC), paid a visit to the Pike County Outreach Council. This outreach aims to connect residents with valuable resources available through the OhioMeansJobs Career Center Pike County.
Representatives from the CAC’s Workforce & Business Development Program will be conducting these outreach events at various locations throughout the area each month. The focus is on providing information about local job opportunities, educational training options, and supportive services for job seekers, all made possible through grants supporting these programs.
The upcoming “OMJ Van On-the-Road” event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 21st, from 10 am to 2 pm at Pike Community Outreach, located at 306 Bridge Street, Waverly.
