CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — More details have been released in the case of a local man who called and threatened the Ross County Prosecutor’s Office.
The sheriff’s office received a report on Monday, March 25th, stating that a man had made several calls alleging that the Prosecutor’s Office had wronged him. According to the report, the deputies listened to multiple voicemails left by the man.
Later in the day, deputies located a man at his residence on Lunbeck Road, just south of Chillicothe. They had attempted to speak with him regarding the incident, but the man became hostile towards them. The report states, “Upon arrival, (name withheld) immediately began using several different versions of the word ‘F**k’ to tell me that he did not appreciate my presence.”
The deputy further stated that the man was disgruntled that none of his calls from the “Prosecutor’s Office, Ross County Sheriff George Lavender, the FBI, CIA, and the military were being returned.”
The subject’s name was withheld as no criminal charges were filed. Officials say the man was trespassed from the property of the Prosecutor’s Office and was warned that any further communication could land him in jail.
