WILMINGTON, Ohio — Cincinnati Children’s Hospital is set to enhance pediatric care in Clinton County with the opening of its new Wilmington Primary Care center. A ribbon-cutting event is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, at 1150 W. Locust Street, Suite 500, with media welcome to attend during an open house that will run until 6 p.m.

The new facility spans 3,875 square feet and includes eight exam rooms, specifically designed to provide dedicated and specialized care for newborns, children, and teenagers. This opening is a significant step towards making pediatric services more accessible to families in Clinton, Highland, and Fayette counties.

Dr. Jeff Manser, the lead physician at this location, along with Dr. Tina Gabbard, who also works at the office, will be present to greet the public. The couple has been practicing medicine in Clinton County since 1988 and have a long-standing commitment to healthcare in the community. Dr. Manser’s return to practice was motivated by the community’s support during his severe illness from COVID-19 at the start of the pandemic.

The event will also include remarks from Wilmington Mayor Patrick Haley, celebrating the impact and importance of the new center. The location is easily accessible via Interstate 71, aiming to serve as a crucial healthcare resource for families in the surrounding areas.

About 4,000 children enrolled in HealthVine, a pediatric accountable care organization overseen by Cincinnati Children’s, reside in Clinton County and nearby areas. The establishment of this new center represents a critical development in ensuring that these children receive the highest standard of medical care.

Cincinnati Children’s purchased and renovated an existing medical office to create this state-of-the-art primary care facility, demonstrating their commitment to improving children’s health and strengthening the community’s healthcare infrastructure.
