Chillicothe, OH – The Ross County Chamber of Commerce will officially welcome Big Gravity Marketing to the local business community with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Chamber office at 11:00am on February 28, 2025. Big Gravity Marketing is poised to introduce a fresh and innovative approach to digital marketing, led by industry veteran Michael McAteer, who brings 25 years of experience in print and digital marketing.
Big Gravity Marketing was founded on the idea that traditional sales funnels are outdated. Michael explains, “Sales funnels are leaky. You really want to create a marketing ‘gravity well’ that makes it impossible for consumers to see any other viable option but yours, through rich content and solution-centric media. Hence, Big Gravity Marketing.”
A seasoned expert in the field, Michael McAteer began his career in print design before shifting to the digital landscape. “The script has flipped,” he notes. “It’s almost all digital now, with a small print aspect. I’ve done anything you can do in print and nearly every form of digital marketing at some level. But the field is constantly growing and changing—you have to stay on top of your game to give clients the best options available.”
The journey to Chillicothe was both professional and personal. Originally from Southern West Virginia, Mr. McAteer relocated to the area to be with his partner, whose career brought her to Chillicothe. “After about a year of long-distance, we decided we wanted to be together full-time,” he shares. “It made sense for me to join her here and start our new life.”
Big Gravity Marketing’s mission for 2025 is simple: to make a difference for clients. “Marketing strategy is something any business can buy, but I want clients to choose me because they want the best,” Michael says.
Michael encourages entrepreneurs to familiarize themselves with the technology in today’s AI-driven business landscape. “Read as much as you can about how AI is built and how it thinks. Understanding its underlying mechanisms will improve your use of it at a higher level. Stay up to date on new platforms as they arise.”
For startups with limited budgets, he suggests leveraging social media advertising. “If you put together a smart and efficient approach to your ad strategy—along with using some of the inherent AI tools in digital marketing platforms—you can extend your reach even on a limited budget.”
Big Gravity Marketing invites the community to celebrate its launch on February 28 at 11:00 am at the Ross County Chamber of Commerce. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the company’s innovative marketing strategies and how businesses can benefit from its unique offerings approach.
