CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Ohio Christian University will bring the classic musical Godspell to the stage this week for a limited three-performance run at its Ministry and Performing Arts Center in Circleville.
The production features a cast of OCU students and alumni and promises a high-energy, immersive experience with dynamic staging and cast interaction with the audience. The show blends humor, music, and storytelling, exploring themes of friendship, community, betrayal, and finding joy in everyday life.
Well-known songs, including “Day by Day” and “Beautiful City,” are featured throughout the performance. The production follows the original stage adaptation rather than the film version.
Performances are scheduled for Thursday, April 17 at 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ministry and Performing Arts Center, 1476 Lancaster Pike, Circleville.
Tickets are available at purplepass.com/godspellocu and can also be purchased at the door. Seating is limited, and early purchase is encouraged.
