CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Board of Commissioners will meet Monday morning with a full agenda that includes a bridge replacement contract signing, a public hearing on community housing, and a discussion of the Ross County Senior Citizens Levy.
The meeting convenes at 9 a.m. at the courthouse on North Paint Street. Commissioners will begin with the signing of a contract for the West Junction Bridge Replacement project before moving into general county administrator business.
At 10 a.m. the board will hold its first public hearing on CHIP2026 — the Community Housing Improvement Program — which provides funding for housing rehabilitation assistance to eligible residents.
At 10:30 a.m. Melissa Body, a Senior Benefit Specialist with CEBCO, will present the fourth quarter review for the county’s employee benefits program.
At 11 a.m. the board will take up the Ross County Senior Citizens Levy — the nature of that discussion, whether it involves placing a levy on the ballot or reviewing current funding, was not specified in the agenda.
Following a lunch recess, commissioners will return at 1 p.m. for a work session with The Thrasher Group regarding the Ross County Airport.
The meeting is open to the public. Anyone wishing to be added to the agenda must contact the Commissioners Clerk at 740-702-3085.
