PIKE COUNTY, Ohio — Medical helicopters were called to the scene of a serious rollover crash early Sunday morning in Pike County.

According to the Piketon Seal Township Fire Department, rescue crews were dispatched around 4:45 a.m. to a crash in the 12000 block of State Route 220.

Reports indicate the vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree.

Medical helicopters transported the injured to a Columbus-based trauma center.

The names of those involved have not been released by law enforcement.
