Witnesses told dispatchers that a group of individuals ran out of the home and then jumped into a car before leaving the scene. It is unknown at this time if there are any injuries as a result of the fire.

Crews arrived on the scene and established a water connection to begin knocking down the flames.

It should be noted that this residence was the scene of a homicide just last week.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Officials have called for an arson investigator.
