CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — High school juniors, seniors, and recent graduates interested in nursing careers can get a hands-on look at the profession at Ohio University Chillicothe’s Bobcat Nursing Camp on Friday, June 26.
The free one-day camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and includes hands-on nursing skill activities, tours of the campus nursing simulation labs, and time with nursing faculty. Lunch will be provided. Participants will also gain experience to strengthen their resumes and scholarship applications.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to explore the world of healthcare, gain hands-on experience, and discover the passion that drives the nursing profession,” said Lindsey Shotts, interim associate director at OHIO Chillicothe.
